Happy Birthday to ME! I officially turns 16 in another 2hr. Meaning i grow old and the white hairs becomes more obvious. Wisdom comes with that i believe. Anyways, the heat is on. Exams are blowing me off my feets. 1,2,3 and yes the exam paper is right in front of you in a matter of time. Well, and so the gameboard of life for me goes on.
I want to be young! No stress, problems are solved with a snap of my fingers. Easy as ABC. I wonder, why and how problems come around. All i can think of is that, problem arises because of us. With us trying out new ways to improve different aspects in our life, there bound to be obstacles that prevents us from the continuing the road we were meant to go on.
The recent "idol give back" show told stories of perservence. Those people in Africa, though facing many crisis, one after another, they still hope for the best and work towards the light at the end of their tunnels. I wonder, why dun we donate to help others in other countries like Africa. I know that we donate to charity in our own nation. Yet, the part of the sum of money goes to the organization. Thus, therefore, greediness tends to take over people. Just like early this year, the NKF case. i dun find it fair, people are really in need for the treatment, yet those corrupted people take first class flights and such. What about the patients. I know they need to uphold a high stardard or status, but what's that. Going on holidays using the company or funds from the people of the nation. Totally the scandalous.
I was wondering, if part of the rich income goes towards the charity, that might help. However, it would seem unfair. There should be a way where the needy can be helped more. It only seems that the only time where Singaporeans donate is when there is a charity show or something. Yet, some donate for the prizes. That isn't being sincere. Shouldn't we be donating for the joy of helping the needy, not for the things that can be won. In the end, the amount of money spent on the prizes are compensate using the donations. Or maybe not. Whatever the case, there will still be justice and injustice in the world. That what makes the world balance.
-Being 16 to me is ageing, yet what about now?-
